Program Overview
RoboToys
The RoboToys program integrates robotic mechanical design with coding logic, helping students balance both to create optimized robots. Throughout the program, students build and experiment with various robots, deciding how to solve each robotic function through a mechanical adjustment, a coding solution or a combination of both. With the GoAlgo app, students implement sequencing, functions, parameters, conditions, loops, events, and multithreading while also experimenting with gears, movement systems, and mechanical structures. This unique balance of mechanical and coding problem-solving approach helps students understand how robots are engineered, developed, and optimized in the real world.

Overview
Students explore transmissions, cams, oscillating mechanisms, and movement systems through hands-on robot building. They discover how force, motion, and mechanical structures work together to create functional machines.

Program Objectives:
Introduce students to coding logic.
Build a solid foundation in coding terminology and core coding concepts.
Strengthen algorithmic thinking, computational thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Develop creativity through designing, refining, and debugging their own robotic behaviors.
Promote teamwork, collaboration, and independent thinking.
