Young Engineers

Program Overview

AlgoPlay

The AlgoPlay program introduces students to the fundamentals of coding through building and programming robots. With the GoAlgo app, students explore debugging, algorithm planning, conditions, loops, multithreading, and sensor applications. Through hands-on challenges, they develop computational thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence while building a foundation for higher-level robotics and coding.

A AlgoPlay class at Young Engineers

Curriculum
Overview

As the curriculum progresses, students advance from debugging and basic movement commands to algorithm planning, conditioning, loops, interrupting commands, and multithreading, strengthening their ability to think like real programmers without worrying about syntax or complex coding considerations. They also explore sensor applications to create robots that respond to their environment through event-based logic.
